Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies has revealed his admiration for Nigerian music, listing songs by Burna Boy and Rema among his top five favorites. In an interview shared by Bundesliga on social media, the Canadian international named Burna Boy’s “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” as his number one track, followed closely by Rema’s “Ozeba.”
“These are my top five songs; number one, ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ by Burna Boy. Number two is another afrobeats song, ‘Ozeba’ by Rema,” Davies said during the interview.
Rounding out his top five, Davies included “Champions League” by MHD, “Fendi Drip” by Luciano, and “Now You’re Gone” by Basshunter. The defender, known for his eclectic taste in music, has previously mentioned Davido’s “Legend Can Never Die” and “No Competition” as songs that help him gear up for matches.
