Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has called for justice following the tragic murder of Idowu Christianah, a 300-level student at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Christianah was allegedly killed by her close friend, Ayomide Adeleye, a suspected serial killer.
Reacting on her official X page, Ayra Starr condemned the violence and highlighted the need for better protection of women. She wrote, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah.”
The investigation revealed that Adeleye not only kidnapped and murdered Christianah but also buried her on his property. Further details from the probe have linked Adeleye to the deaths of his ex-girlfriend and blood sister in separate incidents in 2018 and 2020.
