Arsenal Secures Ben White with New Four-Year Contract

Arsenal Football Club has announced the renewal of defender Ben White’s contract, extending his tenure with the Gunners for another four years. The 26-year-old, who joined Arsenal in 2021 for a fee of £50 million, has become a pivotal figure under manager Mikel Arteta, contributing significantly both as a right-back and a centre-back.

White’s importance to the team was underscored by his recent performance, as he featured in Arsenal’s historic qualification for the Champions League quarter-finals after a 14-year hiatus, achieved by defeating Porto in a thrilling midweek encounter.

Since his arrival from Brighton, White has amassed 97 appearances in the Premier League, showcasing his defensive prowess and contributing four goals to the team’s cause. This season alone, he has already appeared 27 times in the league for Arteta’s side, playing an integral role in their current position atop the table, ahead of Liverpool on goal difference.
