APC National Chairman Appeals for Patience as Tinubu Seeks Economic Revival

Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), urged Nigerians to exercise patience with President Bola Tinubu as he navigates the challenges of rebuilding the economy. Speaking during a meeting with leaders of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) at the APC national secretariat in Abuja, Ganduje emphasized the need for perseverance amidst the administration’s efforts to address years of neglect and policy inconsistencies.

Ganduje commended the PWDs for their solidarity and reassured them of the party’s commitment to addressing their challenges through targeted skill acquisition programs tailored to their specific needs. He highlighted President Tinubu’s extensive policies aimed at elevating Nigeria to greater heights but acknowledged the daunting task of addressing long-standing issues inherited from previous administrations.

Echoing Ganduje’s sentiments, Tolu Bankole, the APC National Leader of Persons With Disabilities, emphasized the importance of recognizing the contributions of PWDs to society and called for inclusive governance that prioritizes their needs. Bankole expressed support for the Ganduje-led National Working Committee and affirmed the PWDs’ backing for Tinubu’s Renewed Hope policies, which are perceived as catalysts for positive change in the country.

Highlighting the sizable population of PWDs in Nigeria, Bankole underscored the significance of inclusive development and urged electorates to support APC candidates in upcoming off-cycle governorship elections in Edo and Ondo states. He emphasized the potential impact of supporting PWDs, emphasizing that assistance provided today could benefit not only individuals but also their families and dependents.
