The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in the House of Representatives has shown strong support for the party’s candidates in the upcoming Edo governorship election, Senator Monday Okpebholo and Hon. Dennis Idahosa. Both candidates are sitting members of the National Assembly.
As a demonstration of their commitment to the party’s success in the September 21 polls, the APC Reps Caucus has contributed ₦200 million towards the campaign. The donation, made by individual members of the APC in the 10th House, was coordinated under the leadership of Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu.
During the cheque presentation, which took place under the leadership of House Leader Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, OON, the Caucus emphasized their loyalty to the party and their determination to ensure victory in Edo State. The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr. Yahaya Danzaria, Clerk of the House of Representatives, Hon. Billy Osawaru, and Prof. Jake Dan-Azumi, Chief of Staff to the Speaker.
