As the Edo State gubernatorial election approaches, the South South Zonal Organising Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, has endorsed Senator Monday Okpebholo as the best candidate for the position. Agbomhere defended Okpebholo against criticisms that he has not been vocal enough about his aspirations, describing him as a “silent achiever” who has made significant contributions to business, entrepreneurship, and wealth creation in Edo State.
Agbomhere dismissed claims that Okpebholo has been avoiding media engagement, characterizing him as a focused and committed individual who is not overly boisterous but is dedicated to transforming Edo State if elected. He urged the people of Edo State to recognize Okpebholo’s integrity and not to miss the opportunity to elect a leader who will prioritize their well-being. Agbomhere’s comments came in a congratulatory message on Okpebholo’s 54th birthday, where he wished him continued success and more glorious years ahead.
