Former signee of Portable Records, Young Duu, has come forward with startling allegations against comedian-turned-artist Carter Efe, claiming that Efe orchestrated the creation of a fake social media account in his name to criticize Nigerian music sensation Davido.
The saga unfolds against the backdrop of Young Duu’s previous collaboration with Carter Efe following his fallout with Portable last year. Their joint release, ‘Oyinmo,’ in November appeared to cement their alliance. However, tensions escalated over disputes regarding the distribution of royalties from the song, leading to a rupture in their partnership.
In a recent development, Young Duu took to his Instagram account to deliver a stern message, accusing Carter Efe of resorting to deceitful tactics. “Carter Efe, God will punish you,” Young Duu declared in a video message. “You are using a Twitter account in my name to troll Davido. He will think I am the one attacking him. It’s unfair. You are fake.”
