The Nigerian Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has sanctioned the posting and redeployment of several senior officers in a move aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within the Nigerian Air Force (NAF). This restructuring, which includes Branch Chiefs, Air Officers Commanding (AOCs), Directors, and Commanders, seeks to introduce fresh perspectives across the service.

According to a statement by the NAF’s Deputy Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Captain Kabiru Ali, the reshuffle is designed to “improve operational flexibility and introduce fresh ideas” in various sectors of the force.

Key appointments include Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Olasunkanmi Abidoye, who has been reassigned from the Defence Headquarters to NAF Headquarters as the Chief of Standards and Evaluation. AVM Adeniyi Amesinlola, formerly the Commandant of the Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, has been named Chief of Transformation and Innovation, while AVM Abubakar Adamu takes over as the Group Managing Director of NAFIL Group.
