AC Milan have completed the signing of Spain forward Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid on a four-year contract, with an option for an additional 12 months. The Serie A club triggered Morata’s release clause, reportedly around £11 million, to secure the transfer.
Morata, 31, recently captained Spain to victory in Euro 2024. His professional career began with Real Madrid, and he has also played for Juventus and Chelsea. During his tenure, he won the Champions League twice with Real Madrid and clinched the Italian title twice with Juventus. Additionally, he lifted the FA Cup with Chelsea.
Morata has been prolific on the international stage, scoring 36 goals in 80 appearances for Spain.
