AC Milan CEO Giorgio Furlani has firmly rejected speculation that Portuguese winger Rafa Leao is set to leave the Serie A club for Barcelona. Speaking to reporters outside Milan’s Milanello training ground, Furlani stated that there is “zero possibility” of Leao departing the seven-time European champions.
When questioned about the potential for Leao to request a transfer, Furlani expressed confidence that the 25-year-old would remain with Milan. Leao, who is under contract until 2028, has been linked with a move to Barcelona in recent Spanish reports.
Milan, who began their Serie A season with a dramatic 2-2 draw against Torino, will face promoted Parma on Saturday evening under the guidance of coach Paulo Fonseca.
