2Baba Ends Two-Decade Partnership with Manager Efe Omorogbe

 

In a joint statement shared on Instagram by talent management company Now Muzik, legendary Nigerian musician 2Baba, also known as Innocent Ujah Idibia, announced his departure from his longtime manager, Efe Omorogbe, with immediate effect.

Expressing mutual appreciation in the statement, Omorogbe acknowledged the significance of working with 2Baba, stating that their collaboration went “beyond work.” He reflected on the accomplishments achieved during their two decades of partnership and assured continued support for the artist from the sidelines.

In response, 2Baba expressed gratitude to Omorogbe, crediting him and the Now Muzik team for a substantial part of his career success. Despite parting ways, the singer acknowledged the positive impact of their collaboration, emphasizing that “every good thing must come to an end.”

2Baba, who initially joined Now Muzik management in 2004 following his departure from The Plantashun Boiz, will now be represented by his new management company, Hypertek Digital. The announcement marks a significant transition in the iconic artist’s career as he steps into a new phase with fresh management.
