Junior High Grapplers season begins

The Newman Grove Junior High grapplers competed at the Madison Invitational this past week. Overall they did a pretty good job considering the tough competition.

We won 7 of 20 matches, with 4 of those matches being decided in the final seconds of the match, in which we did not win.

We currently have eleven wrestlers out, and are co-oping with Lindsay. This is proving to be a big benefit to everyone as it puts a few more bodies to practice with, as well as more competitors at the meets to score points for the team.

This upcoming week we will be at home on Tuesday, November 18, and at Howells on Saturday, November 22, starting at 10 AM.
