Local high school students chosen to attend HOBY

The Nebraska 2008 HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar) is a three day seminar, which is designed to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference in their community and in society.

The seminar provides lifelong leadership development opportunities to show the students how to achieve their highest potential. Incoming high school juniors are chosen to represent their school because of the outstanding leadership potential they have demonstrated.

Three area students were chosen to attend. From Lindsay Holy Family: Andrew Kurtenbach, son of Bob and Jane Kurtenbach; and Kevin Weeder, son of Rich and Ann Weeder; and from Humphrey St. Francis: Jill Boesch, daughter of Jack and Cindy Boesch.
