Kelsey Wallin, Pool Manager, along with her dad, Brian and her brothers, Derek and Parker (not pictured) installed the new water slide at the swimming pool on Sunday afternoon.

The pool opened on Monday and even though the water was quite cold, it didn’t seem to bother the kids. Bryton Fowlkes was the first to try the new slide and from then on, there was a line of kids excited to try it out. Kailey Fowlkes of the North Pole, Alaska came a long way to use the slide and was third in line. Kelsey, Parker and others have spent time getting the pool ready for the summer. They did a lot of painting including all the benches and the pool area looks wonderful! The Brian Wallin family is commended for all the work they did. They are an asset to Newman Grove. So, when you see any of the family, stop and say We Appreciate You.
