Holy Family School Scholastic Book Fair
Darci Lindgren
Ms. Frizzle, the main character in the Magic School Bus books, joined the fourth graders in the library during the Scholastic Book Fair. Books, pens, pencils, erasers and posters were available for the students to purchase. The winners of the posters were: Lexi Frauendorfer, Blair Korth, Trent Reardon, Kristen Herchenbach, Kayla Sueper, William Frisch, Andrea Weeder and Eric Frauendorfer. Cassidy Chohon was closest to the correct number of pages (2,163) in a stack of books and was awarded a poster.
Total sales from the Book Fair were $1,490.97. The library received twenty free books and approximately twenty- five free books for use in the elementary classrooms.
Thank you to all who supported the fair. Our Librarian and elementary teacher, Patty Hemmer, dressed up as Mrs. Frizzle to celebrate the book fair.

Book Fair helpers
Darci Lindgren
The sophomores at Holy Family School were paired with first graders to help them decide which books to choose from the Book Fair. The sophomores wrote the choices on a wish list. The Wish Lists were taken home and the first graders and their parents decided which books were going to be purchased.
