Win $50 in Newman Grove Bucks

Have you heard - Q125 is coming! What is Q125? you may ask. That is the celebration of Newman Grove’s 125th Anniversary! Coming in June of 2013!
Plans are already underway and we hope to make this a great commemoration of our past and our future! We also hope to get as many people involved as possible. We’ve got an easy, and rewarding, way for you to start. Be the winner in our “Slogan Contest,” and you can pocket an easy $50 in valuable Newman Grove Bucks!
We would like to come up with a catchy phrase to go along with our promotion of Q125 and we’re opening it up to everyone! Some examples from surrounding communities are, “A Community of Unity,” “Commitment to Excellence,” “Working together to make a good town better.” Do these inspire something good to say about Newman Grove in you?
You will find entry cans in the following locations: City Café, Barnes Mini Mart, Bank of Newman Grove, and the main office at the high school. Just write down your idea, include your name and phone number, and drop it in one of these cans. The winner will win $50 in Newman Grove Bucks, which can be spent at any of our many local merchants.
If you have any other ideas about events or any other part of this exciting celebration, just mention it to any of the members of the Community Club or come to one of our meetings on the first Tuesday evening of each month at 7:00 PM in the Community Center. Or you could even drop your idea in the Slogan Contest can and we’ll get it that way too – just make sure it’s clear whether it’s a slogan entry or another idea.
