Wallin family and others travel to Colorado
A large group of family went to Otis, CO, on May 28 to attend Karson Kuntz’s graduation. Karson gave the Salutatorian address.
Attending were: Merle & LaVede Wallin; Bart Wallin; Brian, Christie, Kelsey, Derek and Parker Wallin; Barry, Jane and Wyatt Wallin; Amy Voelker; Jay, Bub, Jordan, Ben Nelson and Jax; Brad, Becky, Sheanna, Shae, Spencer, and Sadie Wallin; Michael Woischnor; and Kenzie Fowlkes, all of Newman Grove.
Also making the trip were Betty K. Nelson of Norfolk; Bridgett, Dennis, Dwight, Dexter & Desirea Hanzel; McKayla Classen; and Katie Heesacker, of Humphrey. C.J., Heidi and Cooper Holan; and Adam Wallin of Lincoln also traveled, as did Chris Wallin of Commerce City, CO.
The next morning the group traveled to Sterling to watch Karson play in the 6 man / 8 man All Star Game. Karson played on the North team, which won 30-8. Karson made the last touchdown for his team.
Following the game the men went golfing and the women returned to Bonnie Wallin- Kuntz’s home for a baby shower for Chris and Mary Wallin.
The evening was enjoyed with visiting and BBQ. Sunday morning after pancakes, everyone returned to their homes. Karson went to Boulder to run in the six mile Boulder Run on Memorial Day. The entire family stayed at Bonnie Rogers’ house.
Desirea Hanzel and McKayla Classen stayed with Bonnie to attend her volleyball camp.
