Crystal Key Inn holds Open House

Earl Zeller sits with visitors as they enjoy treats.

Nothing was quite as expected. The whole house has had a “freshening” in preparation of the Open House.

It was said that all the furniture is new, but the wall coverings are original from the opening of the inn under ownership of the Dannelly’s.

We heard stories about how some of the walls had to be removed to get furniture in, and other “war” stories of the big day, but you would never know by the look of everything so clean and in it’s place.

This particular room had two beds, both set into the wall. There is also a small sitting room attached to the east side of this room furnished with wicker furniture. A perfect place to get away for a little quiet time.

The condition of some of the pieces is unbelieveable. Except for the antique carving of some pieces, you would think they were new pieces.

Anyone booked to stay at the Crystal Key Inn is in for a real treat; surrounded by beauty and great hospitality, they are sure to get nothing but a restful stay.
