Lindsay Girls Softball team is tournament champ

Lindsay Girls Softball, 12 & under team won the league tournament on July 1 held in Clarkson. They went into the tournament as second seed with a record of 6-2. Their only losses were to the top seed, Howells.

After getting a bye their first round, they played Clarkson in the second round and defeated them 19-3. Clarkson and Madison met in the consolation game. Lindsay went on to the championship game against Howells once again. After a long, hard fought game, the Lindsay girls were victorious with a 9-7 win. They finished their season 9-2 with a gold medal.
