Easter Egg Hunt brings out a crowd to the City Park each year

Photos by Ray Carver

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

The Annual Egg Hunt at City Park was a real hit this year. The children were ready and the parents were helping. When that whistle blows the hunt begins! All ages have a good time. This is an event sponsored by the Newman Grove Community Club.

The line up is very important ... each age group has a specific part of the park they hunt—so you have to get ready to run.

And it doesn’t take very long. Within moments every piece of candy and every toy has been snatched up. Moms and older brothers and sisters help the little ones to not miss anything.

This annual event is organized each year with the help of Newman Grove’s FFA. The candy and toys are provided by the Newman Grove Community Club.

Puppy fun

Part of the fun is visiting with the little puppy Michael, (owned by our photographer, Ray Carver) a cute little English Bulldog.

Many of the participants were all painted up as little bunnies. All part of the fun of the event.
